Test Engineering Manager
Description: Responsible for managing the production test function, customer product test development, and manage all outsourced engineering requirements. Through subordinates, ensures that products are tested for quality according to assigned schedules, standards and customer specification. Directs the activities of employees engaged in testing products and identifies areas for improvement or advancement. Plans and implements cost effective test procedures. Analyzes equipment needs and recommends test equipment purchases. Directs operations through first-line supervisors and has administrative management responsibility. Coordinates inventory control. Reviews equipment problems and hardware/product status. Effectively monitors quality system processes within the department as defined by ISO 9000 requirements. Assists in the planning of annual budgeting and strategic planning. Typically requires a college degree and at least five years related experience, including supervision.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Description: Responsible for developing and implementing overall manufacturing strategy of products. Through subordinate supervisors or professional staff, ensures the effective use of material, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products most effectively at minimum costs. Acts as a liaison with engineering personnel in releasing new products and provides guidance regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Manage, maintain and implement Design for Manufacturability guidelines and consult with customers and suppliers on same. May establish and control the budget for development of methods, procedures, and fixtures. Determines cause of rejected parts and their disposition. May schedule and coordinate the building of prototypes for use in the design, hard model, and demo production phases of new product introduction. Oversees the maintenance of records and reporting systems for coordination of all products. Directs the development of assembly guides, procedures, and illustrations. Participates in cost studies and makes equipment recommendations. May report to the Manufacturing Manager or executive. Requires knowledge of modem manufacturing methods in test, assembly, and fabrication areas. Typically requires an advanced technical degree and at least seven years related experience, including supervision.

Experience: Five Years Related
Process Engineer III
Description: Under limited supervision with a broad scope of responsibility, performs complex activities for the development and implementation of process techniques in electronics assembly/manufacturing. Develops or modifies process formulations, definitions of standard processing, and equipment requirements and specifications. Reviews processing techniques and methods used in the manufacturing, fabrication, and evaluation of PCB assembly. Reviews product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Recommends and prepares changes, additions, and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. Programs automated equipment, to include PnP machinery and AOIs. Conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new approaches and concepts in processing engineering. Interface with Sales Department to provide job cost analysis. May provide work leadership and training to lower level professional staff. Typically requires Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 3-5 years experience in PCB Contract Manufacturing/Assembly; will accept an associates or technical degree with five to seven years rexperience in PCB Contract Manufacturing. Prior experience with CAD/CAM, Circuit CAM or similar types of automated design software is required.
